Rosa

There is something very pink lurking in the corridor. It's whispering in my ear that the door really should have been pink.

Punchy pink above. I want to put a few colorful decorative cushions on my bed, currently it looks way too empty and bland. I like the pink hued mixed prints seen below. Do you use plenty of cushions on your bed? Is it really that big a pain to remove them every night?

Üstte; yüksek doz pembe. Yatağımın üzerine renkli birkaç yastık koymak istiyorum, şu anki hali fazla boş ve donuk geliyor. Aşağıdaki pembe tonlu karışık desenleri sevdim. Siz yatağınızın üzerinde dekoratif yastıklar kullanıyor musunuz? Onları her akşam yatmadan önce kaldırmak gerçekten dert oluyor mu?

Love At First Sight

İlk Görüşte Aşk

This is a tiny studio apartment with only one room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a generous hallway. But Alvhem Makleri dressed it up so beautifully that it once again made me think too much room and stuff to make a place your own. In this listing I have found many ideas to copy for my own home, one of them being the rattan chest in the beautiful entryway seen above.

The most exciting corner is this tiny workspace. It's modern but feminine, cozy but uncluttered.

Looking into the main room from the hallway.

Holden ana odaya bakış.

The main room; it's a living room/bedroom/office! Can you believe it?

The folding shelf mounted on the balcony door is a wonderful idea.

Balkon kapısına monte edilmiş katlanan raf iyi bir fikir.

The "bedroom" corner. The wall lamp and the bedside table are beautiful. And for once we are not being led to believe electric wires do not exist.

"Yatak odası" köşesi. Aplik ve başucu sehpası çok güzel. Ayrıca ilk defa evlerde kablo diye birşey yokmuş numarası yapılmamış.

Yes, the cupboards are nothing fancy. But the rug, stool, gorgeous table and that espresso maker turned this into a very stylish kitchen. There's also a retro style fridge, if you want to see more see the original listing here.

Go Tartan!

Ekose!

It is a known fact that I am crazy, crazy about tartan. The mix of colors and patterns in these photos are just beautiful. The turquoise piping of the plaid chair is perfect.

I'm not a fan of pied de poule but it looks sweet in gray/white. I love that the headboard and skirting are made from different tartans. This bedroom is fall wonderland for me.

I will never ever grow tired of tartan.

Ekoseden asla, asla sıkılmayacağım.

Offcut Fluoro

Isn't it amazing how versatile a blindingly fluorescent color piece of furniture can be? Above you can see the Offcut Fluoro Bench by Tom Dixon looking fabulous with  plywood and chalkboard black , and below the Offcut Stool coordinating perfectly with white floors and olive green.

And below you can see the photo I (secretly) took at The Conran Shop at Michelin House back in September 2010. There is no capturing the actual level of fluorescence of this thing, it's like someone is pointing a laser in your eye I tell you. I wish I could find paint that color!

Aşağıda ise Eylül 2010'da The Conran Shop Michelin House mağazasında gizli kapaklı çektiğim fotoğrafı görebilirsiniz. Bu şeyin floresan parlaklığı fotoğraf ile yakalanamıyor, insanın gözüne laser tutulmuşçasına parlak diyorum size. Şu renk bir boya bulabilsem keşke!

Concrete

Beton

These photos from photographer Stellan Herner's portfolio have one thing in common; concrete walls. It is a rather cold color / texture but with good styling anything works. I certainly wouldn't mind the lack of paint if I lived in any of these rooms.

Fotoğrafçı Stellan Herner'in portfolyosunda yer alan bu fotoğrafların ortak noktası beton duvarlar.

The kitchen counter is concrete as well. Works wonderful with its best friends matte black and aluminium. See the photo below if you do not yet believe red and white check fabric will warm anything up.

I'm still trying to figure out how a bedroom with a bare concrete wall and all black wardrobe manages to look cozy. Not to mention the hook on the ceiling. Kinky!
