Leap Year Bundle

Artık Yıl Bohçası

Happy leap year! Could not miss having this rare day show up on my blog archives. February 29th is more special than any annual occasion! I can't believe in all these centuries nobody has deemed it a holiday.

The cross stitched cushion above is supposed to be from Poppel, but I couldn't locate it despite browsing all their stock. I'm posting it anyway because the color scheme gives me joy, and I love the portrait.

Indoors lemon tree? Enormous windows that allow the mild winter daylight in? Just looking at this photo is very relaxing, imagine actually being there.

Inky swallows on the white porcelain remind me of tattoos. The gold trim makes these cups look even more delicate.

This layout looks a lot like my own bedroom. Black roman shades (or at least black-out shades) are a must if you are nocturnal like me and can't stand the morning sunlight piercing your eyes in the sweetest part of your sleep. The black painting above the bed seems gorgeous, and so is the wall lamp.

This is a painting by Toronto-based artist Carly Waito, called "Pyrite 2". I often pop in to her website to gaze at the beauty and detail of her work.

Find a beautiful place and get lost

Güzel bir yer bul ve kaybol

How can a collaboration between Lotta Agaton and Petra Bindel be less than awesome? How about the cuteness of Acne JR toys? The "Kranium" wooden skull is my favorite.

Mixed prints on the bed and a beautiful illustration by Emma Löfström on the wall.

Yatakta karışık desenler, duvarda Emma Löfström'e ait ilüstrasyon.

Turned wood bottle shaped candle holders by Bunker Hill.

Ahşap tornalama, şişe biçimli mumluklar Bunker Hill.

"Find a beautiful place and get lost" print is one of the few things that isn't available at the shop. Almost everything else, you can buy. For example the owls are by Pia Simensen.

"Find a beautiful place and get lost" / "Güzel bir yer bul ve kaybol" baskısı mağazada göremediğim yegane şey. O yüzden o kime ait bilmiyorum. Mesela baykuşlar Pia Simensen.

Mr. Bright

Do you think neon pink is going out of style? I think there will always be need for pink. Especially considering it looks amazing next to black & white and neutrals. Other neons; I don't care as much for.

Every week I ooh and aah over another knit blanket. Here is this weeks choice.

Her hafta başka bir örgü battaniyeye övgüler döşüyorum. Bu haftanın battaniyesi bu olsun.

Neon pink befriending the Eames chairs. I think I have seen this many times before but the art on the walls sets this dining room apart.

Neon pembe Eames sandalyelere yarenlik ediyor.

Western

What a cool entryway! The arrow pattern of the "Tapestry" wallpaper by Cavern, along with that basket, which makes me think a rattlesnake is nesting in it, really got me craving a few hours on the PS3 playing Red Dead Redemption.

basket case: noun (PERSON) someone who is fond of baskets to a great degree.

Evde bir sürü sepet tutmak için bahaneler benden; gazete sepeti, yün/örgü sepeti, koltuk battaniyesi sepeti, odun sepeti, çiçek sepeti...

Beautiful, creative railing made with rope. We have an under stairs pantry and now I'm just plain sad we never thought of having star shaped holes on the doors.

Urgan ile yapılmış yaratıcı bir trabzan. Bizde de merdiven altı kileri var, kapılarına böyle yıldız şeklinde delik açmak aklımıza hiç gelmedi diye üzüldüm şimdi.

This is actually a traditional Finnish ornament/mobile called himmeli, made of straw. Still, I think the sheriff would approve.

Squirrel + Flower + Bear

Sincap, Çiçek, Ayı

Number one on my wishlist; Studio Morran "Forrest" posters! All three of them together.
